Established in 2017, ICEMARC, Indiana County’s Emergency Management Agency Radio Club, broke off from the long established Indiana County Amateur Radio Club in 2023. We felt driven to provide more services to ham radio hobbyists in this region in the areas of Education, Events, and Emergency Management. And we’re taking a very different approach. ICEMARC is not a typical club: We have no membership fees and no dues. We have leaders, but no board. And we count heavily on our volunteers to help us serve this county as we are called to do.
We have a unique relationship with the county’s Emergency Management Agency. With an official call from the EMA to work with the Red Cross in times of emergency, we now have many new opportunities to serve ham radio hobbyists in this region.
In the menu above, you can read more about our many fun social activities and ways in which we remain active. And if that’s not enough, we want to hear from you. After all, we live to be of service, and your input is critical to our success.
